Little Caesars Pizza Vs. Domino's Pizza
By cluense
Hot -N- Ready Pizza
Hot -N-Ready at 50
I am comparing and contrasting “Little Caesars Pizza” and “Dominos Pizza”. I am currently a former customer of Domino’s and have embraced Little Caesars Pizza as my family’s weekly comfort food. Little Caesars offers “Hot and Ready” Pizza at a price and speed that no other pizzeria can offer. I walk in, pay $5.00 for a large pie, and before I can get the money out of my change purse, the pizza is already on the counter. I save money on delivery, the product, and every time I walk in the establishment I know that I will be charged the same price for the same quality and taste that my family knows and loves.
Furthermore, “Little Caesars will turn 50 on May 8, a celebration made possible, at least in some part, by the company's decision five years ago to add a $5 pizza to its everyday menu…and, as Skid points out, Little Caesars stands poised to survive the economic downturn because it's one of the cheapest food options around.” (Jonathan Oosting, 2009) They stopped their delivery services altogether. The outright rejection of delivery “allows Little Caesars to keep its costs lower than the competition, and position itself differently in the market.” (David DeWitte, 2009).
On the Other Hand, Domino’s Pizza was “founded in 1960, Domino's Pizza is the recognized world leader in pizza delivery operating a network of company-owned and franchise-owned stores in the United States and international markets.” (Dominosbiz.com (2010). However, Domino's Pizza recently changed its recipe and launched a PR campaign and asked its customers for feedback on how they can improve their pizza recipe. Big mistake, they learned the hard way that new is not better. Furthermore, die hard loyal Domino’s customers are no longer remaining loyal to the company and are blasting them on Twitter and Facebook. They asked for feedback and boy did they get it! Moreover, it was not at all what they were hoping for!
In conclusion, change for the sake of change can bite you right where it counts most, customer loyalty. I, as a consumer, what my pizza Hot, Unchanging, Cheap, and Ready when I enter the establishment. Gone are the days when I want pizza delivered to my door and I must pay extra for the service. I would rather afford an extra pizza for my loved ones then line a delivery man’s pockets. Therefore, I save money on delivery, the product, and every time I walk in the establishment I know that I will be charged the same price for the same quality and taste that my family knows and loves.

I know what you mean! I was raised in Bayonne, NJ and taught by my Italian side of the family how to make the real Italian Pizza Pie. I make the real one but, also enjoy the American version found at Little Caesars! Thank You for stopping by and I will visit your hubs soon! Watch Out Cause Here I Come...:)
I've always liked Donato's!
Have you tried Domino's new crust? It's really good! Thumbs up on your hub!
I like pizza yummy:) good article about dominos pizza and can be a reference for my next hub .. thanks
Good article. I wish we had a Little Caesars where I live. I hear it's quite good. I actually think Dominos new recipe is an improvement, but I hated the old recipe. The new one is not great, but at least it's tolerable in a pinch. I usually go to local non-chain pizzerias, some of which are very good.
I LOVE LITTLE CAESARS. CAN'T TELL YOU THE LAST TIME I HAD ANY OTHER KIND.
Dominos is rediculous!!!! I wanted a pizza delivered and they didnt even send it to my house and i called and they sed something stupid
omg i love little caesers hot and ready always , its only 5 dollars and now they have 3meat with crazy bread and you get a 2 L pepsi also only for 10 $ can you imagine its a large pizza 3 toppings , crazy bread and a 2 L soda 10 dollarrrssss i love it
I LOVE LITTLE CAESERS
Little Caesars Rocks:)
Iv been a head manager there for almost 3 years!
Little Caesars has a great menu, where its Large 8-slice Cheese, Sausage or Pepperoni pizzas are $5.00!!
In my book, in today's world and economy Little Caesars is a must. Crazy Bread is a $1.50, [Crazy Bread, have 8 pieces of bread sticks with a dab of butter and a few dashes of parmesan cheese.] Add in a bowl of Crazy Sauce [Marinara Sauce] and have a great tasting lunch/dinner!!
Little Caesars's store/business hours as of Oct. 9, 2011 are as follows:
---------------------
Sun. & Mon. 11am - 9pm
Tues., Wed., Thu. 11am - 10pm
Fri. & Sat. 11am - 11pm
These times are for the Naperville, IL & Plainfield, IL areas.
---------------------
I worked there for 7 1/2 years as a crew member to a delivery driver, to assistant manager, to co-manager, to store manager. It was a great job and I was so happy to see the business grow when we went to the hot and ready format. And the pizza? Yummy!

Hello cluense.very well written.you argued your point convincingly.
As an Italian born in Italy I can't eat American Pizza or I'll get disowned LOL.I make my own like my momma taught me.funny though how my friends think its austere and prefer the American version.
Thanks
