currently live in Cartersville, Ga and my name is Katie . I am originally from Bayonne, NJ. I am 45 and the proud mother of Danelle (11) and Xena (5) . Where to begin??? I have been in Corp. America for over 18 years. I then branched off and owned several businesses of my own which include, but are not limited to: A Web Developing Firm, Bookkeeping company, A Chicken Restaurant, A Pizzeria, Avon Representative, and recently a Tax Preparation & Accounting Business. I am married for the 2nd time. I was a single mother of my eldest Daughter for 6 years. This is my 3rd year with Ashford University and I am a 4th year student (credits transferred from my A.A.S. in 1991). I am currently working towards my BA in Finance and the Smart Start program for my MBA with a specialization in Finance. I want to prove to myself and my daughters that it does not matter how old you are, you can always be more and do more at any age.

I enjoy taking care of my Husband Ricky and our two daughters. In my free time I like to knit, sew, read, play classical violin, and take care of our many animals; Retriever (Angel), Cats (YoYo) and an infant that I raised by hand (Chance now 3 months old), Parrot (Blue), and a 50 gallon aquarium filled to the brim with tropical fish. I am very active in my local church (Alexandria Methodist Church) and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am the second of 5 children and the only college graduate.

I am in a new phase of my life and I want to  prove to myself that I deserve the professional credentials to back up my experience and be an inspiration to all who know me.
